Evergreen is an interactive folk musical for children aged 5 to 8 years old, created and performed by Gennie Joy and Greg Link. The show tours around schools, theatres and arts festivals across the UK and beyond.
Evergreen is a 45-minute interactive folk musical for 4 to 8 year olds. It features live performances on musical instruments, singing, chanting and moving to music together with every audience member. Evergreen is planned, developed and performed by professional actor-musicians and music educators with extensive experience performing and delivering education projects around the UK and internationally. The show lines up with National Curriculum requirements for music for students aged 4 to 8, as well as offering a pre-show resource pack and post-show legacy meeting with staff from participating schools.
The show was commissioned by Essex Music Hub and, following a highly successful pilot in Autumn 2022, Essex Music Hub have now included the show as part of their ongoing offer to schools within the county. We have also worked in partnership with Bedford Sings, Barking and Dagenham Community Music Service and other London schools, and have now performed over 20 shows!
